Springfield, IL/Decatur/Champaign (I'll just give the full variety-less subchannel lineup in the market except PBS):
WCIA-3 (Champaign): 3.1 CBS, 3.2 My (from Nexstar sister station and 1967-2002 WCIA repeater WCFN-49.1 Springfield)
WICD-15 (Champaign): 15.1 ABC (basically a repeater of Sinclair's WICS-20 Springfield except news), 15.2 Cool TV
WAND-17 (Decatur): 17.1 NBC, 17.2 weather
WICS-20 (Springfield): 20.1 ABC, 20.2 Country Network (no Cool TV, not even on cable, on this side of the market)
WBUI-23 (Decatur): 23.1 CW, 23.2 This TV
WCCU-27 (Urbana): 27.1 Fox (no subs--WCCU is a repeater of WRSP Springfield)
WCFN-49 (Springfield): 49.1 My, 49.2 CBS from WCIA
WRSP-55 (Springfield): 55.1 Fox
Peoria/Bloomington is a little worse (full lineup--all Peoria-licensed stations except WYZZ-43, not including PBS WTVP-47):
WHOI-19: 19.1 ABC, 19.2 CW
WEEK-25: 25.1 NBC, 25.2 weather
WMBD-31: 31.1 CBS, no subs
WYZZ-43 (Bloomington): 43.1 Fox, 43.2 CoolTv, 43.3 Country Network (Sinclair owned although Nexstar's WMBD produces their news).
WAOE-59: 59.1 My (no subs)
Plus as a bonus the parts of the Peoria market mostly north of I-74 can also pick up all 5 channels of TBN via WWTO-35 LaSalle/Chicago. WWTO used to have analog translators in Peoria and Bloomington among other cities (e.g. Rockford, Elgin, Galesburg, etc.).
But not too far from Peoria--The Quad Cities (Davenport/Rock Island/Moline) puts both markets to shame (except PBS WQPT-24 and KQIN-36):
WHBF-4: 4.1 CBS, 4.2 RTN
KWQC-6: 6.1 NBC, 6.2 weather
WQAD-8: 8.1 ABC, 8.2 Antenna (formerly weather), 8.3 My (via LP analog WBQD-16)
KLJB-18: 18.1 Fox, 18.2 CW (via sister station KGCW-26 Burlington, IA), 18.3 This TV (via KGCW-26.2)
KGCW-26 (Burlington): 26.1 CW, 26.2 This
I am always--and still thankful--to have grown up within signal range of the Peoria and Quad Cities markets, including in the digital age. Plus throw in WWTO in the area I grew up in--and a very impressive digital channel lineup (at least 30 channels) for such a rural area in west central Illinois, IMO.
