BIG BEAT RECORDS/HY LIT/STEVE COLT CIRCA 1968

Does anyone know who owned Big Beat Records, a record label which was located at 1412 Snyder Avenue, Philadelphia (next to Rossi's Pizza) in the late 1960s. One minor hit that received airplay in Philly was "Dynamite" by Steve Colt, a native of the Boston area. I remember seeing Steve perform that song on the then-syndicated Hy Lit TV show. It never received any airplay in Boston beyond WILD (1090 AM), the city's only R & B station. It was produced by a guy from Boston named Dave Sugarman, a.k.a. Don or dave Garman. That's about all I know. Any other info?

There was a record shop called "Big Beat records" at that address. later became "Mel's records". Big Beat records was owned by Ace" out of the UK.
