Big Boy exits New Orleans

Citadel's new Hip-Hop station POWER 102.9 has dropped Big Boy's show as expected. Instead of picking up Rickey Smiley's Morning Show, they've decided to go live and local with Big Abe and the Power Posse. As of now, both Citadel Urban stations in the Big Easy have local morning shows and CC has Joyner and Harvey.
 
This was the best news, since first big boi sux in the south and 2 sleepy steve is wack on Q. The community needed something relevant in the mornings.
how they been doin?
 
im happy to see some urbans go live and local in the morning, maybe some PD's still realize that live and local will rate better then synicated dump that everyone knows is from out of town.
