Big Boy's Neighborhood

Do you think this new morning show would be a good fit for Casa 106.7. Power 106, which is where the show originates from, is a "hispanic-friendly" rhythmic just like Casa.
 
Gol' dangit...I thought you were going to say Kip's Big Boy was coming back to town. Even Bob's or Shoney's Big Boy would suffice. Just in case, put me down for a Super Big Boy Combo with fries, and hold the dinner salad...substitute it for something with more grease and more fat, please. And I'll have the Chili Spaghetti for dessert.

Nothanks. I rather have the "Half Pound O' Ground Round" with a quarter cup of that Big Boy's Seasoning Salt. Mmm.

I know about Big Boy...but I dont know if he would work here. I really never heard his show.
 
I heard Kip used to do morning drive and every friday was a checker pants revue of DFW. Them Burgers were great and afterwards you could use the tissue and lube a fleet of Peterbilt Trucks. The strawberry shakes were to die for and many did.
 
I'll take the salad... But not without Ranch dressing... lots and lots of it!

Well I've heard of Big Boy. It would be nice if I could listen on-line to Power 106. As for the morning show, I've tried listening and that is the worst morning show ever!!!

My turn...

Big Boy is nice and a real up-and-comer when it comes to a clean urban show. Casa? Not so much. The only thing Latino about his show are people's last names and the "Booty Call". Casa would give it play like most stations - listen for something they relate to and not tune in if schtick gets stale.

It's unfortunate for Big Boy. This market is laden with sustainable urban morning radio. Steve, Tom, Rickey and yeah, even CHEAT-em. I agree with Salem. I don't think he is right fit for Casa, or even this market. But if someone's dance card opens, don't be surprised if Big Boy gets a call.
