Looks as if peter finally landed the Wammy on the Press Your Luck board of life and he lost it all (rim shot)

Ok, that was distasteful, but it had to happen sooner or later. I grew up watching that show every day during the summertime. Ah yes, the 1980's,when game shows were game shows and you won decent prizes and parting gifts.

OK, OK, just no jokes about the plane taking a "free spin" into the ocean.

I watch this show on Saturdays when I get a chance; Peter was hot on that show. I love it when he gives away the Tandy computers that are worth big bucks. Very sad; he had a set of twins; more kids that are now orphans.

I'm not sure what's more surprising, the untimely death of Peter Tomarken or the incredibly insensitive remarks from most of those responding to this thread making fun of his death.

At the time of his death, Peter and his wife were trying to help a cancer patient get to a treatment center in Los Angeles for help.

Got any more jokes now?

Cry me a river MRD. The reason why people joke about death is because all of us eventually will face our own passing. Me, I think its a natual response and one we should all do. Life isnt for mincing and whining, its for living. Maybe you should try it sometime ;)

It's ignorance and lack of sensitivity

And, a lot of that exists in radio these days

These ignorant comments aren't surprising. Dallas is a $10 an hour radio market and you get what you pay for. Here's a <a href="http://www.radio-info.com/mods/board?Post=678914&Board=tv-classic"> decent thread on the incident.
