Forever Communications purchased the Frankfort group of stations from Clear Channel, the sale was final in middle of November. They are re-branding 104.9fm Capital Country. The big change is supposed to happen the day after Christmas. Anyone know what's going on, who's programming there, etc.?

Yes, and they actually have real DJ's that actually talk over the air now.
It didn't used to be that way. The station now plays mostly new country with some 90's, etc. country mixed in...and every now and then they throw in a classic country song. It's a pretty good station but they still have a few kinks to work out. I wish they could have a larger coverage area, though. That would help them out a lot if they put a city grade signal (mostly) over Lexington.- Status
