Except maybe for the little one in Mesquite that has been stuck in the 70's since 1996... :(

Lonestar was playing "Brown Eyed Girl" the other day. I had to check what station I was listening to. I thought it was K E O M! :D

no, it won't be jazz. A little bird told me who actually purchased the domain, and it's not kzps.

A little bird told me Pat M. formerly of CC - purchased "just in case" - Correct? I think we know the same bird. ;)

Hopefully it is ABC. "Anything But Country", that is.

On a totally different format..I have heard changes elsewhere...KHKS was playing Def Leppards's "Pour some sugar on me" the other day..And it wasn't played during that mypod lunch thing that they have at noon either..This was at like 2pm. I have began to hear more older stuff on KISS. Actually makes them sound better.

And I predict that it'll be a little time before we all spot these changes...

Could be a day, could be a week, could be a month, but you'll be able to spot the changes a mile away...

And to think, they may have to change those flashy billboards that show they only play two artists 24/7?! :D

So is this Lonestar leopard about to change it's spots??? I spotting them going off the cliff in the latest Arbs. Would it be spot on to call Lonestar a failure only 6 months after launch?

Question for you. I am not involved in the radio industry at all, yet from reading this forum, I get the feeing you are involved with KEOM?
If that is correct, why does your station only play stuff from the 70's? Why not at least add the 80's to your station mix?

Just curious.

Good Question...

Probably the answer is something like :

WHO'S GONNA PAY FOR THOSE RECORDS ? ? ? ? ?
