The E-skip opening went away after I caught about 1-1/2 of it. It may have been going on since 7:30am, because I noticed the interference on 94.5 already then, but ignored it, thinking it was a pesky MI station, as usual this time of year.
At home, I'm using a Sony XKR-S10HDiP HD radio with a C. Crane FM Reflect antenna. I didn't get any IDs while in the car.
These were all logged between 9 & 10:30am. Here's what it brought me:
90.3 KEDT Corpus Christi, TX Classical RDS "KEDT-FM" 1,151 miles...The RDS sinched the ID
92.9 KROM San Antonio, TX Spanish Estereo Latino" RDS "ESTEREO LATINO" 1.071 miles...This is not new for me
93.5 KBHT Crockett, TX Album Rock "The Outlaw" no RDS seen 878 miles...Not a new station, but a new format since my last catch
93.7 KKRW Houston, TX Classic Rock "The Arrow" no RDS seen 980 miles...This is a new catch
94.5 KFRQ Harlingen, TX Album Rock "Q-Rock" no RDS seen 1,252 miles...Also a new catch. This was the one bothering Milwaukee's 94.5
107.1 KDXX Benbrook, TX Spanish "La Que Buena" no RDS seen 859 miles...Another new catch
