Big Jim Sykes

We are thinking good thoughts for Sirius/XM Elvis Radio afternoon guy, Big Jim Sykes (I call him "Large James.")

Jim is at Baptist East tonight after an apparent major cardiac event and an emergent triple bypass. Last I heard, the doctors were happy with Jim's progress.

TCB, James.

Hey you get better Jim Sykes..I remember you at Q102 and Nu 92 in that Jackson market. Yeah I taught him how to roll his R's too. hehe.

24/7 Elvis..That was my idea back in the day. I told Flinn back in the early 90's he should turn one of his AM stations into a 24/7 Elvis station. Did he listen to me? NO. Guess he thought I was drunk again. But my idea finally got to somebody and turned into a satellite format. Yep, I invented the 24/7 Elvis format we all know and love.

Get Well Soon and get back ta playing that Elvis 24/7 there old Sykes.

Drinking some 8 ball tonight and getting right!

Prayers for Jim & his family! I've known him since '93 during our time at WTNV in Jackson, then at Froggy in Memphis. A great talent and an even better person! Hang in there Jim. Thanks for the post and please keep us updated.
