Big Joe Henry Forced To Step Aside As Basies Emcee

The article I read had Big Joe Henry simply withdrawing. I always liked NJ 101.5 for the most part.

I'd have to quote Governor Christie's sympathetic response to a protesting teacher: "Well, you know what, then you don’t have to do it."

Using that logic, you should move out of the state. Because staying in NJ just shows your support for the governor's policies. And people from other states who disagree with Christie would be justified in holding you responsible.

I think we'll just leave that there.

I think NJ101.5's sympathy for Big Joe in this regard is probably roughly identical to their sympathy for the teachers and administrators they've helped get laid off.

Oh, wait...Big Joe still has a job.

Taxes can't keep going up in NJ. The state should not be run by the teacher's union.

You've made a statement: The state of New Jersey is run by the teacher's union.

Chris Christie was the US Attorney in this state for six years, until he became Governor. Did he ever initiate a probe into this rather significant instance of corruption? Has he suggested that one be launched now?

I agree about taxes, but "the state is run by the teacher's union" is not a defensible statement.

(And, by the way, it has nothing to do with radio.)

The Union has brought this on themselves. Now it's a national story with legs, WKXW is wearing the white hat, and the Union has shot thenselves in the foot.

That commentary says it all! The NJEA is a contemptible, despicable organization that doesn't care about anyone but themselves! The NJEA has bought time on every radio station in the NY/NJ area regardless of format to force everyone to listen to their warped and self-serving agenda. They've run TV ads as well. Every ad is more obnoxious that the last one! :)

And not a single point in rebuttal to their obnoxious, warped, self-serving ads, huh? Well, I guess that wouldn't be on topic, given that this is a radio board.

But, no, do go on. You hate teachers. Let it out. We're here for you.

The following past post just reminded me of Daffy Duck.

When 70 percent of my real estate taxes go to fund the ever bloated education department with its countless administrators, 4 assistant principals, over 600 school districts, that wasted Abbott program, where do you think the best place to cut? If this was a real private sector company, 80 percent of the behind the scene blood sucking administrators and vice principals would be laid off. The school teachers should be left alone.
