What ever happend to "Big John Bina" he has seem to disappeared from the radio world- Any one know what he is doing these days?

A friend told me, that Big John Bina, has decided to pursue other endeavors far from radio. Dr. Kelso, Dr. Cox, Dr. Reid, Dr. Turk
Dr. Dorian, Carla &Ted would be proud!

Saw "Biggie" a week ago. Big career change. Studying to be Doctor...(Doctor, Doctor..Mr MD..) guess he listened to the Young Rascals too many times. Anyway, with all his past studies, needs just 3 more years. While studying, he's working (interning) at a Providence Emergency room. (I'll keep that secret so as not to deter anyone one from going to an ER). I give him lots of credit, tremendous undertaking at his age. Thought he'd want to be an OBY...but he'll be a general practioner.

If that's true, all I can say is "wow". Frankly, I've never heard of someone in his mid-to-late 50s going to medical school...the oldest I've ever heard of is someone in their 40s. Even for a G.P., you have a residency of several years after you get your M.D. degree.

It's Ok. Bina is going to live to be 200 years old. ;D

It's all true.....Biggie started here in radio at a young age....he's mid 50's and now in EXCELLENT health. One problem? When it happens, what type of music will be piped into his waiting room.?

ProJo or somebody should write an article about John--it would encourage other mid-life career changers to shoot for the stars.
