Big lineup changes at KKMJ

Shelley Knight is gone. Anyone know where she is? She was very upbeat ... ideal for that workday shift. Her replacement is Stephen Michael Kerr, who moves from afternoon drive. Former morning man Alex O'Neal is the new afternoon drive guy. And a newcomer, Terri McCormick, joins Kim Stewart in the mornings. (The morning show now goes to 10, instead of 9, by the way.) Stinky Delilah keeps her evening spot. They're also starting to tout the fact that they play "positive" music. What gives? They can't possibly be scared by The River, or can they?

I heard they let SKnight go because of her attitude.

SMK will do great at middays!

I heard that she might have dissed an advertiser.

Stephen will be great anywhere, he is a true pro.

But they are suddenly saying "Family Friendly" and "Austin's home of positive music." That seems rather reactionary to a station that most listeners in Austin haven't even heard of.

I wonder which station will benefit the most from the changes.
