Big News: Lou Dobbs Coming to WOR

For those of you who haven't heard of Lou Dobbs yet, he is coming to WOR starting in January. He is going to replace Dennis Miller on the afternoon time slot. I remember when Newburgh's WGNY-AM carried Lou Dobbs a few months ago from 3:00 PM until 6:00 PM weekdays, it doesn't fit on an oldies station on 1220 AM at all. I hope Lou will take a bite out of the WOR schedule. Good luck!

I don't know why you single out 1220 AM ...there are many frequencies he doesn't fit on. But on 710, Lou Dobbs will definitely bite.

And you're right...that *IS* big news.

Meanwhile, Glenn Beck still has no New York clearance.

Hey, maybe Dennis Miller will be turning up on WABC next year!

I will miss listening to Dennis Miller on WOR... He, Malzberg and Savage were a good afternoon-evening lineup.

The Dobbs news, however, is interesting and probably a wise decision by programmers. Hopefully DM will get clearance somewhere else in the NYC-Metro region.
