Big Party Saturday, you're invited!

Yes, you're all invited to go to the KOGO pre-cruise party this Saturday featuring Cliff Albert and Mark Larson!

Oh boy I can't wait! Let's see... Bottle of Jack Daniels, check. Bottle of muscle relaxant pills, check. Yes, I have everything I need!

They call it the "KOGO News Cruise Party" and it basically is on par with those parties sponsored by time share companies: the goal seems to be to get people to come and buy the cruise package. All fine and dandy, but it kind of reflects the sad state of radio that a once-esteemed radio journalist and former general manager have to spend a weekend afternoon as cruise salesmen. I guess that why the have to drop in Fox News TV feeds when important stories break: the news department is busy shilling for the Love Boat.

Wow, this might be better than the Christmas party my former job had on the boat in the harbor behind the Bahia on Mission Bay Dr.<P ID="signature">______________
