Big radio distances this morning!

On my car radio today in Myrtle Beach I could hear WCOS in Columbia as perfectly as a local station, and also heard WROQ in Greenville very clearly for about 15 minutes or so. I was very impressed as I've never gotten a GSP station on the coast before.

WCOS has a big signal, one of the best in the state. I have heard them in nearly every corner of the state, as they come in around Charleston when there is any DX, sometimes all the way down in Savannah, and even on a normal car radio, sometimes I hear them up in North Myrtle Beach.

I can even hear them in Charlotte, especially near Carowinds.

Last night, on my OTA TV, with only rabbit ears, I was getting WCTI's audio, but no video. I often get WIS-TV in Charleston late at night.
