It's now been almost four weeks since you said it would take another week for the announcement to be made. Was your scoop wrong? If it was, you should post that. Even the New York Times prints corrections when articles are innacurate.

Clarification is in order: I'm saying that given the chance, I'm guessing they would offer it to TK, not that they should. If it were up to me, I would want someone like, say, my old amigo Big Jay. Live 'n' local is best.

Didn't you hear? According to BossJock1947, the job was filled over a month ago...at least, according to his May 25 post on this thread. For those of you who missed it, here it is:

I e-mailed him. He didn't e-mail me back. Of course, the announcement that was coming in another week should've been made 4 weeks ago...but it wasn't.

No one can ever replace Big Ron.He's hitting every post in the "Rock'N'Roll Heaven" we are all shooting for!! However, ..in the words of Bill Drake, "The Rock Rolls on"!! A safe bet is that WOGL's PM driver to be announced before Labor day.

Hes still got quite a followig on the East coast, he's talented as hell. and if they need someone to do talk at the last minute across the hall, he has a ton of experience in that. He seems to me to be the perfect situation. Personally, I'd listen to him. I caught his show at the shore w/ aita when on vacation, and it was terrific. I hope they do the right thing.

What's the possibility that they don't hire anyone to replace BRO? The jocks filling in currently aren't doing a bad job and keep to the formatics.

Most likely the two combined salaries of Cadillac Jack and Angela Mason are half of what CBS was paying Big Ron.

Just my opinion, but paying a "big name" wouldn't translate into markedly increased ratings/revenue.

And, that what it's all about...the bottom line!
