Big Shoe Stu is back to his old airshift at KMLE

worked with Stu a century ago in Nashville...this is excellent news!

We'll miss him at the Media Hut's annual Going Out of Business Sale and staff member's Bar and Bat Mitzvahs. Congrats from the Nurse and me...our loss is KMLE's gain!

That is GREAT news! Hopefully they know how much he's worth to that radio station and are paying him accordingly.

Eight months worth of back pay would be a nice gesture, too...

Welcome back, Stu!

I listened to his show on the way home from my boring corporate job today.

Wow.

He really is that good, isn't he?

So, we have Stu back on KMLE and Jack back on KOOL, what are the chances we'll get more of the old 2007 personalities back on KOOL?

congrats to stu, jack, etc. i'm told they are good people and good talent.

however, this news has got to be killing insidethenumbers....errrrrr....dave p.

his is the only fired cbs'er that hasnt had a phone call.

has anybody seen that listing for the worlds biggest yard sale in pv? buy 1 book and get the movie rights free.

bet me that dave will post "got an email from a friend of my butler's neighbor (not my butler in PV...the butler in Coronado).... who sells gold to my saudi prince neighbor... (who lives is a much smaller home than i do).....he said my name was on this board...the one i never read..."

back to my job at kupd...i'm off to never never land.

Don't know about the rest of you in the closet, but Nurse Jeff and I are sooooo looking forward to a Big Shoe Stu backyard barbeque! Heck, we'd even give the former Morning Mayor a ride in our '76 Gremlin to the event. Of course we'll check the PV municipal code first to see if such vintage cars are allowed on their streets :D

Congratulations to Stu for regaining your on-air status, to KMLE for rehiring classy talent, and to the Phoenix area listeners whose radio listening options have markedly improved. I'll make an Internet visit to KMLE soon, maybe on Hump Day.

Stu comes at a low cost and probably needs the work. Pratt will only come back if he wants to. BIG difference.

welcome "foley tv".

i don't find it at all strange that you chose this topic to make your FIRST POST on our friendly radio forum...
and you ref dave's cost.

again- welcome to foleytv.

Another BIG difference between the two is the size of the ego. I think you know which one has the BIGGER ego and needs to be on-air to stroke that ego. Enough said!

When management pays you to stay away while it is paying another morning team, it's not a compliment from any advantage point. And Pratt can't come back just because he wants to

How about some of the best '08-'09 weekend jocks over at KOOL, like Tony McGraw, Mike Patrick and Liz Boyle?
