Although this post is not directly related to a radio station in the Atlantic City area, but a commercial that was heard on several radio stations within the Atlantic City market. The commercial was for a furniture store in Somers Point called Big Wally's. What I would like to know is the name of the person who did the voice over for the commercial (and this commercial was heard on various AC market stations in the early to mid 90's). When I heard the commercial, the announcer sounded like George Bush (not W, but his father who was the President from 1989-1993). I also remember hearing another commercial during the early 90's with the Bush sound alike, along with a Clinton sound alike. Don't know what the commercial was, but anytime I heard the Big Wally's commercial, it reminded me of the elder Bush. Thanks and happy listening.

They are not going to waste time they could be using to sell furniture, trying to find out who did a voiceover for a commercial that ran 30 years ago.

If they have an active website, check to see in the find print at the bottom of the main page for the copyright info. If it's an advertising agency, contact the agency. Their might be an "ask us" tab on the site. But with the same commercial on different stations I would be a small cup of BK regular coffee there is an agency involved. You might want to check out the local commercials in the market.

If your nice they will. Who knows maybe it was a person that they knew doing the commercial. It does not hurt to ask. Now if they are out of business try asking around the areas media people You might get the answer.
I don't think the ad agency is going to remember or have records on who voiced a commercial 30 years ago.
How many people are around any business who was there 30 years ago? I would not recommend calling a business or advertiser over this...
The much more logical solution would be to find audio of said commercial and see if anyone can recognize the voice.
