Big WECK 2 Flips to all Christmas at midnight

Very surprising. I wish I had all of the posts from Buddy Shula about flipping to Christmas. But here's one:

There are no ratings being measured in Dec. That begun last year when monthly ratings came out. Radio stations are doing this for the wrong reasons now. People actually hate that the music begins so early, so Nov is a bust, then when it gets hot in Dec, there are no ratings.

Here's another one:

People can get Christmas tunes in a thousand places. I think their are at least 4 on Sirius. Why would anyone listen to the garbage Christmas presentation STAR has. They have not changed the imaging liners in 15 years! The music is terrible, and scattered with no rhyme or reason.

So I guess WECK will have better imaging. But will they get better results?

Isn't WECK 2 only a streaming option? If it's not over the air, the Geezers aren't likely to find it. This is just as irrelevant as the STAR Christmas stream...

We now have three posts discussing Christmas music. Is this really necessary? Can we consolidate it all on one thread?

It seems like the only real full-time OTA option will be 96.1, and I suspect that they're likely to get the lion's share of the ratings. Online options will more likely play on smart speakers and will have to compete with other pure-play streamers and satellite for those subscribers. Maybe if there's enough differences in the mix between Star, "New", and WECK2 a streaming favorite might emerge, but I don't see anybody adding new buttons to their car radios, even if they could.
