Big Yellow Disclaimer

Status
Not open for further replies.
When I logged in today I was greeted with a rather lengthy yellow disclaimer filled with reminders not to engage in personal attacks on people, not to engage in ad hominem attacks, etc. Followed by a threat of suspension.

That is totally understandable and reasonable, and I don't disagree with any of it.
Nor do I have anything personal against the rather large number of people here who likely
don't agree with me on any issue.

That disclaimer appeared in the box that is normally filled with an ad feed.
That ad feed is generally directed by algorithms. Was that message directed to me
personally? Because I have NEVER posted anything here which I intended to be a
personal attack against anybody.

I may have been the victim of some when somebody did not like a comment I posted.
But I don't recall ever initiating any.

Everyone sees the message. It's merely a reminder. If you click the X in the upper right corner of the message box, you won't see the message again.
