Bill Caiaccio

Bill Caiaccio formerly of WGST and CNN radio is now on WSB,I hear him reporting the other day and today he is doing news breaks during Mark Arium's show.

Indeed, Bill has been hired by WSB. Former CNN colleague and a great guy on and off the air! Good voice, too.

I'm definitely not one to be speculative...but, Bill is way too talented to be stuck on weekends (he was the morning anchor during the last years of CNNRadio) so is Cox trying to find big talent to eventually promote to bigger and better things? (Not going to say what I'm thinking here, but you can figure it out...)

I agree,it's ironic that back in the day when WGST was a viable competitor with WSB,thee were more people who went from GST to SB than the other way,I know Kimmer came from WSB.

Bill is a gentleman first class....and a great news anchor. I know him, and have worked with
him. Could it be that since Scott Slade is now approaching retirement age that Bill will be
groomed to be the new anchor of the WSB morning news block? If so, WSB would be making
a very smart choice. Good Luck Bill.....!! From your old friend, Diamond Dave
