Has anybody ever heard of a website called "Facebook"? Apparently it's very popular and has several hundred members. Anyway, here is what Bill Carroll posted on his Facebook page December 21:
"Today I have in my hand a new long-term agreement to remain at KFI. Awesome! But that's not all. Starting January 7th next year, my Toronto fans can hear me each weekday on Talk Radio AM640 as they drive home from 4 to 7 PM. A completely different show for Toronto listeners on issues they care about."
The Toronto station is CFMJ. The first two hours of Carroll's show will be taped; he'll do the third hour live from Los Angeles. http://www.640toronto.com/
How will Carroll tape two hours a day in the KFI studios and manage to be relevant to the audience in Toronto? Remember in 2009 when John and Ken's afternoon show began simulcasting on KNEW in San Francisco? They weren't relevant to the audience in San Francisco and the simulcast lasted less than a year.
