Bill Carroll @ KFI

Is it just me or does anyone else think that Bill Carroll @ KFI has been going over the line with the Brian Stowe involvement and with his advertising promos for the Drake Institute?

It's to the point now where "he" is the story and is overtly taking advantage to further his own ego?

Thoughts?

Agreed!

Also, did you know his real name is William McCarroll? LOL!

I never begrudge talk show hosts for using a stage name. You have your own and your family's safety to think of and all it takes in this day and age is one nut with a computer and search function and perhaps even some weapon to invade your privacy and make your life hell.

I'm always surprised more talk hosts don't adjust their names. Of course, maybe they do and the fact that I don't know it means they've done a good job.

Yup, He's listed in the book under his real name, although it's doubtful anyone cares enough about him to do anything.

I don't find fault with his Brain Stow involvement, he's not a journalist. I have noted the Drake commercials, mainly because they were running the "missing 8 year old boy" commercial long after he was found. While the spots are definitely intense, I support his right to do them, both from a commercial free speech standpoint and also a practical way to advertise services to those with autistic children.
