If I'm not mistaken, Peter was also at WLS-FM as well. I have a video aircheck of him prior to his WEBE debut. If I can find my video importer I'll see if I can grab a still from the videotape.

FYI Larry Caringer interim for Bush
Caringer & Friends goes from WLAD "We Like Adult Demographics" and heads over WEBE LAND as fill in until PD decides on new host. Maybe Caringer will do such a great job he will remain there? Stay tuned! Why Bush would leave a cushy on air job is strange???? Must have had a mid career crisis?????? Starting the Auto racing circuit in your 50's????? I don't know aboout that one??????

Larry Caringer is filling in for a while. Then I am sure they'll use Jim Buchanon and then who knows????????

Its been a few weeks now and I see that Peter's profile is still on the WEBE personalities page, and during the Tesh show at night, promos for Peters afternoon show continue to run. Is there a chance that this may just be an extended leave of absence for Peter? It just seems odd that as involved as Curt is, that these items would be overlooked.

I guess you don't know much about Peter if you think he's having a mid-career crisis and starting the racing circuit in his 50's. Peter has been racing for a very long time, In fact he was a SCCA Champion a few years back in his division. Some people follow their dreams and this is what Peter is doing. He enjoyed his radio career and now he's moving on.

Could be true. Why does the webe website still feature him as afternoon driver? And why do they run promos about him during John Tesh? Shouldn't they be promoting Larry Caringer and Annie? Perhaps leaving the door open for a Bush return?

I think the John Tesh drops were and oversight in the automation, as for leaving the door open for Peter I would agree, he has a long history with the station and Curt Hansen going back to his WAVZ days in the late 1970's.
That's gotta be a good feeling. Knowing you still have studio chair waiting for you. After all, Bush has pulled great numbers for webe for years! Must be a good feeling to have managamente in your back pocket. ;D 8) ;Dm_c said:

Very likeable personality and warm delivery. She would be my pick to off set all the male voices on the station. But that probably won't happen since she reports on the
CT traffic nightmare.
