I quit listening to 103.3 when all of the brokered stuff started (plus their signal is bad to the south), but "Mr. Spartanburg" grates on me.

Man, I hate that...... He will have one less hour to talk about himself....one less hour to dictate his resume to us.....sad. One less hour to hear- "When I first came to Spartanburg.......blah blah blah." :'(

I guess DMG (AKA- Nickel and Dime radio) will find a male enhancement spot to run in his place!!!

"Radio-The Titanic STILL floats!!"

There's definately a few things that are odd about the station. However, you have to give it to them for giving the community a chance to have local airtime. Dorman High School football, Furman Flagship station and some good music and specialty shows when in 'regular' format.

When he first came to Spartanburg, I was guest help, doing midnight to six, at WSPA. I had no idea who he was when he came in for his first shift at 6:00 a.m. on that Monday morning. Course, nobody ever tells the parttimers anything anyway! Man, that was a long time ago....
