Bill Edwards + Peri Appollo Out At K-JOY

Time to reward Dave Reid for his years of loyalty by giving him the Bill Edwards slot. If they go external they shouuld extend an offer to Jack Kratoville.

Random checks of Long Island numbers here said that Edwards had that place pushing WALK and WLTW very impressively at times. That has GOT to be one of the toughest radio chores on Long Island, between those huge signals.

I spoke with him on a few occasions, and he came off as a fine, openminded fellow who could zone in on both strict program rudiments plus creativeness. There can't be that many of his kind left.

Did he do an air shift at K-Joy? If not, he missed just one bet -- his own, lol. The guy is real good on the air.

A triple-talent like that (jock, PD and creative PD) shouldn't be out of work too long.
 
Yes, Edwards was the afternoon guy at KJOY...just in front of John Tesh who appears at 5pm.
