I just got back from the Saturday show. Hoffman was a very good MC. Rich was a bit of a disappointment. Rich was too nice. The best thing he said was he laughs at every stupid joke told by Bill. Michelle was better than I expected. I wonder what Handel thought of his brother's story. I don't think that went over very well. I give his daughters credit for trying to be part of the show but their attempt at singing was hard on the ears. Wayne Resnick did a good job. His karate instructor went a little long but was fun. I thought the best person other than Hoffman was a listener who made his own roast. He was quite clever in how many current stories he covered. I think the people around me thought Janice was the funniest but her type of humor isn't my thing. I was surprised no mention was made of Lara. Dr. Laura was mentioned but no Lara Hermanson.

Good show. I am glad I went.
 
Are you really surprised they didn't mention Lara? I think they've mentioned her name only twice on air since she was booted. They don't even mention her name in emails which undoubtedly they are getting.
 
Not really suprised. It was odd though since Dr Laura and Brian Martin were mentioned. Brian also recently left the show and was mentioned because they called him everything but his real name. Fellow KFI broadcaster Dr Laura was attacked pretty hard by both Hoffman and Wayne Resnick.

The couple next to my right were not aware Lara Hermanson was no longer with the show. The two guys sitting infront of me didn't know who she was and barely knew who Bill Handel was. The two older ladies to my right confused her with Jodie Becker who left on good terms. The couple next to them wondered where Lara was.
 
I was at the Friday show and the listener roaster was hilarious, he was actually better than the others although the news guy was good too. The mentioned Lara during the questions at the end but didn't explain why she left or was fired, whatever the case may be. I wonder what they'll do for a show next year?
