Bill Mann's Friday media column in the Bay Area MercTribTimesReviewStarArgus mentions KGO's tenuous grip in the local ratings "beauty contest, and hints at trouble on the horizon for KCBS:

Meanwhile, at KGO's long-time closest competitor, all-news KCBS, the staff's outlook is grim. "Management is killing our union," said one upset KCBS editor after recent tense contract negotiations in S.F., adding, "it doesn't look good for us."
