Bill O'Reilly = Jesus?

Looks like Bill-O is gonna be Olbermann's "Worst Person" for the fourth time in a row tonight!

"In an interview with NPR this week, O'Reilly discussed how his detractors consider him "evil." To which he retorts, "Some people thought Jesus was evil; they nailed him to a cross..." NPR's Renee Montagne got to wondering if Fox's favorite talking head really thinks he's on the same level as a figure worshipped by over 2 billion people on the planet. "No, but I'm giving you an analogy that's vivid," he finished...

I don't think Bill O'Reilly was equating himself with Jesus. I've heard politicians and their partisans equate themselves with Him, though.

Of course, if Olbermann had been around during the time of Christ, he'd probably have nominated Him and His disciples for the "Worst Person" designation on many occasions.

OLBERMAN= Idiot, A person who speaks from no real knowledge of what AMERICA really stands for !!! In this case (Anchor who thinks He's GOD!!)...Makes my stomach turn ::) ::) ::) ::)

The day I see him feeding the poor and teaching love and compassion for all is the day I'll merely consider him a possible Christian......

Both Olberman and O'Reilly are so over the top, it's hard to take either one of them seriously.

Their SOP is the same: to say something outrageous to keep the buzz going, get them publicity, and throw red meat to the thue believers that make up the core of their audiences.

Though my personal political beliefs are closer to Olberman's - I find those long rants of his really tiresome.

To each his own. Personally, I love Olbermann and his cohorts poking holes in the bombast and buffoonery of the self-important but empty-headed egotists.

I'm a fan of Kieth also. Sure he can be as slanted to the left as O'Rielly is slanted to the right, but at least he doesn't shout his guests down like Bill-o does.

Frankly, I'm underwhelmed by O'Reilly--
simply because to me he's a former movie
critic on WFAA/8 Dallas who lucked into
something. This character just about thinks
he IS God. I can imagine him, if he'd been
around in Jesus' time, saying that Jesus ought
to be telling people to work for a living and
condemning Him for advocating charity (someone
else said basically the same thing, but I'm not sure
if it was a reference to O'Reilly or Olbermann).

I tend to believe Jesus would have had a few
issues with O'Reilly.

So that's what Olbermann & O'Reilly (and the rest of their ilk in the Blatherer-American Community) have in common. ;D

Except, of course, that Olbermann skewers Billo the Clown on his own petard as opposed to Billo who has only his "o'pinion" (and I'll not even use that familiar old truth about opinions). ;D

And O'Reilly can never bring himself to mention Keith by name! Gee, I wonder why...

btw Looks like Bill-O won't go 5-for-5 in "Worst Persons" this week - Shuster subbed for Keith tonight.
