It was announced that Bill Peterson, the former head meteroligist at WOKR-13 (now WHAM-TV has passed away Saturday afternoon. Don Alhart was on the 6: 00 news reflecting on his friendship with Bill. They showed a couple clips and said more will be on Monday. I knew Bill faily well. I considered him a friend. Don said we should remember him in a fun mode. I agree we should smile and laugh when we think of him and not be sad.

My condolences go out to Bill Peterson's family. It's always sad when we lose a member of our broadcasting family, even if we never worked with that individual. Despite his ill health, friends of mine at 13 said Bill was very stoic right up until his passing.
