BILL ROGERS PASSES

I'm sad to share that Bill Rogers, who spent time at KDKB, KOOL-AM, and KOOL-FM passed away March 6th.

I personally remember listening to Bill when he did nights on KOOL-AM and then on weekend overnights on KOOL-FM.

I have so many fond memories of listening to Bill, talking to him on the requests lines.

I'll fondly remember his kind and caring voice and remember him as someone who was a good listener and genuinely interested in others. I believe he left KOOL after finding love.

I'll also fondly listen to break of his I have recorded coming out of Bobby Freeman's, Do You Wanna Dance... "Why sure, lemme put my drink down..." Bill said with that smooth voice of his.
