Bill Simmons' WEEI Diary

Does anyone know of a website that still houses all of Bill Simmons’ old columns from when he worked for AOL, prior to jumping to ESPN.

Specifically, I’m looking for his WEEI diary from October, 1999 where he listened for an entire day, giving running commentary and revealing a lot of insider information like how Sean Grande was fired twice and re-hired at half salary each time, or mocking Eddie Andelman every time he mispronounced former Patriots player Andy Katzenmoyer’s name (“Andy Katmandu!”) or hinting at the fact that Butch from the Cape was a convicted felon, or just completely ripping apart Ted Sarandis and then during the Big Show interview with Pete Carroll he kept calling Carroll “Fredo” and made fun of Carrol’s catchphrase “I’m as shocked as you guys” in talking about the Pats loss the previous day.

And then he tops it by having a seizure because the callers to the Whiner Line are just so inherently stupid.

That's a really interesting situation... there's almost nothing left of the old Sports Guy columns from the AOL Digital City days. A few columns have been recovered and are posted over on deadspin.com, including a 1999 article about how Fenway should be torn down.

I'll keep looking, but that one may be gone forever. I tried to go back through the web archives but the page wasn't saved.

I'm assuming Simmons owns the copyrights, which is why AOL removed them so quickly once he left for ESPN. I would totally read a book of them, if they were sold.
