Bill Straus on KT'R

I turned on KT'R to hear what Gaydos was talking about and I heard Bill Straus. Unfortunately, I am not familiar with him. He sounds like the Scottsdale Lexus guy. He said he did a radio show before. A quick Google search said he had a talk show called Straus' Place from 1992 until 2002. Not sure if he was on 620 the entire time.

Any interesting facts/figures for Bill that anyone would care to relive? He will be on Monday and Tuesday night.
 
Bill is "the Scottsdale Lexus Guy". He did the night shift on KTAR for a lot of years, and did it very well. He's currently the head of the Anti-Defamation League and I (and a lot of other people) figured he was through with talk radio. This is one of those cases where I'd love to be wrong. Bill's terrific.

Straus is a good guy. He does a great job gently dealing with those who disagree with him and he runs a civil, intelligent show.

Good to hear him back.

Pat...Bill Straus...even Leibo is guest hosting tonight (Tuesday)...Has not KTAR invited you back yet? I thought you did a fine job.
 
Before Straus took the job at the Anti-Defamation League, he had an afternoon show on KXAM for a couple of years. Good show, and a lot of old regular callers......Gabe, Bob from Peoria, and others I can't remember.

Hmmm... Straus replacing Monica Crowly and Gaydos? Not a bad idea. Although I don't know how Gaydos would feel about losing that Sunday show!

How about INSTEAD of Jay Lawrence? His show is painful to listen to, he sounds like he just got booted off the short bus.
