Bill Weston to Retire from WMMR?

I've only seen this reported on Crossing Broad so far, so I'm not 100% sure on accuracy (but they have been reliable on news about the Philly sports stations).

They're reporting that Bill Weston is retiring from WMMR. Chuck Damico will move from PD of WPEN to WMMR, and someone new will be taking over the PD reins of WPEN.

My initial reaction was isn’t being the PD of a music station very different from being the PD of a sports talk (or news or talk) station? But then when I saw he was previously an assistant director at WMMR it makes sense for him to return there.

If I'm not mistaken, Bill has been in radio for at least 45 years or more. He's certainly done very well every where he's been. Why not ride out on top and enjoy a well deserved retirement.
