Billboard buys R&R

The Hollywood Reporter this morning says that Billboard is expected to announce today it's acquisition of Radio & Records. That's too bad - I always preferred R&R to Billboard in many ways.

If they're smart, they'll use radioandrecords.com's web model and news organization as the new billboardradiomonitor.com. R&R is the MUCH friendlier site.
