KISSFM? WILQ? WBZD? will little WLYC sports 1050 get anywhere.....is this a prelude? also I think the new Sunbury book is being released....who's buying that one? good luck....I think WKSB, WILQ WBZD, WZXR, WVRT, WRAK, WBYL.....

From R&R Online: Kiss & Q swap places, but both jump big. ZXR steady in third, Variety & Buzzard drop... and poor Bill may be looking for its next format. Basically a 2 station market, as always. BTW, did y'all see what happened down in York? YCR blasts from 7th to the top in just two books. Wow!

> yeah wbzd oldieZ 93 dropped alot......i could never understand clear channel and that WBYL bill country thing........i guess it is used as a wilq killer....but as you noted it has run out of bulllets......another thing that might be hurting some of the CC williamsport stations is that basically they have 5 full time jocks and they are either live or voice tracked on all of them.

The Sunbury ratings are up on All Access now.

Predictably, WQKX ruled the market, with the "Big Country" simulcast far behind in 2nd.

who'd a thunk that sunbury would have its own book..............a good friend of mine works for eastlan the nations second largest ratings company...good positioner.....and he mentioned to me that arb is definitely feeling the pain of med to small bdcstrs who want numbers but are having trouble paying the exccessive contract fees...........I think, now this may be a little far fetched, with all the added expenses...fuel health costs etc a competitor to the arb monopoly just might make it on price point alone......as I have said when I worked in the majors we got weekly sweeps...good tool for pd's...maybe now it is time for the smaller broadcasters to get what the big guys always had.at a reasonable price from someone........
