It looks like we get twice the Billy Bush Sundays on Q100. He is now 9-12 both AM and PM. I guess since the absence of the Twist Radio Countdown show (over a year now?), they had to fill in the gap on Sunday nights. I wonder if Star 94 will bring back Rick Dees to Sunday nights? I guess Journey is now filling in the Rick Dees gap.

Billy Bush Countdown - Twice on Sundays Now

It's not uncommon for a station to play a syndicated show twice a day. In fact, AT40 is programmed twice on Sundays in my area.
Makes me think that Star will follow suit and play Seacrest again on Sunday night 8-midnight now that Dawson McCallister has been gone for awhile.

Thats awful Billy Bush twice. Why not just play music straight from the computer instead.

Well said, Ken. Couldn't agree more! For his countdown-"extras", Billy Bush has the same AC/Rock-AC recurrents that Q100 already plays anyway....blaaaahhh. For how many more YEARS are we going to hear "Viva La Vida", "I'm Yours" and "Cry Me A River"?! (on a CHR)
Viva La Vida, I'm Yours, and Cry Me A River shouldn't even be heard on CHR. Now Hot AC sure it fits fine. WBZZ Star 100.7 Pittsuburgh looks a lot better then Q100 it seems more CHRish while still keeping the Hot AC tag which they are because of the recurrents. Yes I know Pitt isn't Atlanta.
I even find it hard to believe KRBE Houston, TX sounds 110% better then Q100. And they are sister stations which is hard to believe. KRBE is playing "Headlines", Drake's new hit.

All I know is my personal experience with him. I was PD of a classic rocker in Washington D.C. and we had a midday opening--got the tape of this guy doing oldies in a small New Hampshire market. Sounded great. It was Billy Bush. This would have been about 1995 or so.
Anyhow, met him, hired him. He truly is a great guy on a personal level. You'd never know he comes from money--he drove a beat up Subaru wagon and was seriously "Friday casual" every day! Approachable, friendly, a great sense of humor, and humble. I worked with him for 2 years and was very happy with his work.
I met his dad Jonathon Bush, Pres. George H.W. Bush's brother, and we had lunch at that time. He could not have been more gracious.
I don't listen to the countdown but I catch him every now and then on the Access Hollywood show. He's doing what he's supposed to do in that role--and he's doing a good job there IMO.
Just my 2 cents. For me, Billy's one of the "good guys" in the national entertainment media.

Billy Bush sounds okay on his weekly countdown show, but I can't listen to his syndicated show on Q100 at night. He just seems too detached from the music. And part of the reason I don't like the nighttime show is some of the Jan Jeffries "specials," i.e. Hot AC recurrents.
And although Billy sounds okay on the countdown, I think the show is much better when Q100's Johnny O fills in, which is fairly frequently.

Looks like AT40 is now on the air twice on Sunday's like I predicted. Not sure how they are going to work this out with the Falcons on Sunday's. It looks like they ran AT40 earlier this morning before the game.
