....how is this show? Cumulus CHR's carry it. It's their show, and I'm sure with the Citadel acquisition those CHR's will pick it up. Is it kind of their night version of Ryan Seacrest?

Any good? From the looks of it, I'm not impressed.
 
The show is voice tracked different for MYFM in Los Angeles and WPLJ in New York which are both Hot AC's. I got a chance to listen on my iphone on KCHZ in Kansas City which is a Top 40. Mostly CHR music. I guess it depends on the station. Usually Billy chats with celebs after the 30 or 40 minute music sweep is over I guess 10 songs in row. On MYFM here in Los Angeles its kinda boring to me. Hardly any energy mainly due to the stations music. I guess for CHR Billy has to have energy. But I think there are 2 seperate feeds for the show. I havent listen to the Top 30 Countdown yet. Currently it does not air here in Los Angeles. Only American Top 40 on KIIS and that loser Perez Hilton Countdown show on KPWR sunday mornings

Yeah, it's ridiculous - most of the time he just gets on the mike and says the name of the song and the artist (and that's it) - it's gotta be some kind of cost-saving measure
 
Since Cumulus seems to like this guy on their "i" stations at night (and 95.7 The Vibe, who looks like an "i" station with a different name), I wonder how many jocks will lose jobs because of his show. Looks like a 2nd rate Seacrest-type to me, kinda....
I had never noticed the show except for the Cumulus stations. The versions on KBIG and WPLJ are definitely different.

On a side note.... I wonder how many Citadel morning shows will be booted for The Bert Show...
 
Yep KCHZ was Rythnmic in 2005 but then shifted to Top 40 again in 2008 or 2009 LOL. The logo is just like the i stations. The show is syndicated through Westwood One and Cumulus signed a deal to launch the show on most of its CHR and Hot AC stations. And Im sure once Cumulus cleans house in their new acquired stations Billy will surface on them. And it does suck on KBIG in Los Angeles. Love Songs On The Coast is more enjoyable
