Billy G Spradlin passed at 59

I’m a little late posting this, but occasional Radio-Info and RadioDiscussions poster Billy G Spradlin of Kilgore, TX passed away September 8, 2021. Although tests were inconclusive and he was fully vaccinated, he most likely died of complications from a breakthrough COVID-19 infection. Spradlin worked at mostly small market stations in Oklahoma, Texas, Louisiana, and Kansas. His first radio job was at KXVQ 1500 in Pawhuska, OK, and he went to KWON 1400 in Bartlesville, OK shortly afterward. He was an occasional poster on the Texas and Oklahoma boards and shared items from his classic aircheck collection in addition to posting updates about the radio scene in East Texas.
