Billy Greenwood new WSIX morning man

listened this morning for over 45 minutes, i thought they sounded fine. tight, bright, and outta sight.
it's not gerry. it's not jim rome. it's not conan. it's different. i liked the brief stopsets and music quantity, and and it may work. i bet that they played 10 to 12 songs an hour in morning drive. not a lot of "me me me". sounds like their egos are in check. i gave my opinion in prior posts, but i would never stoop to call them a wreck. far from it. i think that they have a good rapport and are two pleasant voices. how does that constitute a wreck? some people apparently just hate change. can't we all just get along? yes. we. can.

Tubes, although I didn't agree with his assessment, it is only fair that I point out it was KDF's morning show that Radiodj65 referred to as a "wreck", not the new WSIX morning show.

While I enjoy WSM-FM's music during the day and even their morning show, including Tim Ross...Billy and Karla on 98 dominate. They are doing a fantastic job of connecting with listeners both on air and on facebook. They have the approachable, friend connection that Gerry never had. I'm impressed. They make a great team and are doing a really good job.

I think Gerry was approachable and friendly. He just had opinions (God forbid) and he shared them. Some of the callers bumped heads with him but at least he was honest.
I do agree that Billy and Karla are doing a great job.
