I haven't seen anything other than the rumor on All Access. But...several things point to this happening: Billy is out at K-Hits. He wouldn't leave unless he had somewhere to go, and he wouldn't leave K-Hits for another Tulsa station. He won't go down in market size, so the only other option is to go up. Billy wants to be on a rock station (his goal at KTBT, other than taking BMMS national, was to replace Phil & Brent on KMOD). He got what he wanted in that respect at KDGE, but they handcuffed him there. KISS is owned by Cox, which is a company he hasn't burned bridges with. There are probably SOME people at Clear Channel corporate who like Billy and put in a good word for him with Virgil at Cox San Antonio. I don't see Cox axing a heritage morning show unless they had someone hired who they thought could bring in numbers. Billy can do that if he's allowed to run his show the way he wants it.

I cannot wait to see what Jet does with mornings at K-Hits. Let's not forget that Carly Rush is still on staff at Renda. She did well with mornings at KHTT in the past, people still remember her...I wonder if it would be too far-fetched to bring her back and pair her up with someone new.
