Billy the Kid left 106.1

RadioInsight says he released a single, but I just found a whole album under his artist name.

SA bound?
96.1 Now PD position remains open since the passing of Russell Rush.

From Radioinsight: Billy The Kidd departed the station at the end of February "for a yet-to-be announced position within the company."
That's what it says now. "Billy the Kidd is moving across the hall to mornings at sister Hot AC "102.9 Now" KDMX Dallas" is how it was first presented. Perhaps that was a mistake, however, that's what I originally read. If you'll take a quick look at the quote box in your response to @011nerve above, it actually shows what was initially written.

What you're somehow seeing was from a draft version of the story written last week when I first heard of Billy's departure and speculation of where he was going. There's nothing to confirm just yet that is where he is going. Why/how this site pulled that date I'm not sure, but it was never published and while it may become true that's where he is going it is NOT yet.

Sounds like a question for the board admins... If RadioDiscussions somehow got into RadioInsight's data...
I thought the post was just edited after guessing Lance may have been told to not post it.

As for Rush, that's sad. I remember listening to Mix when I was younger and he was on.

Nothing wrong with the name "Mix" for a top 40 station by the way, the area I'm in has one with the same format called that. They also use KBBT 98.5's voiceover guy. It's like the best of both stations after moving out of SA, haha.

There's no question to ask. It's a software based issue and could very well be an issue on my end. They didn't "get my data", that's not how RSS imports work.

I follow various sites (including RadioInsight) via RSS and this happens a lot - I see the initial version of the article in my RSS reader which subsequently gets edited on the actual site, but my reader has already pulled it in and won't do so again. So I'll click the article and see something that's often quite heavily edited. Occasionally, I'll see "test" or other articles that have been published and quickly removed.

Your FCC report from Sunday is gone from the headline list now. However the report lives on here.

There's a difference between test posts and something that was never published publicly appearing in a feed. Caches only can cache something that's publicly live online. Text from a draft post never meant to be public is quite different.

What do you mean by headline list? If you mean the RSS feed, its because it like most RSS feeds only feature at most the ten most recent articles.

ok, this thread derailed from talking about Billy The Kidd's departure from Kiss FM to discussing about articles and RSS feeds on RadioInsight.

Time for me to get it back on track, i wonder what's next for Billy, is he moving to a new station in this market, moving away from the on-air side and taking over a role in the business side of Radio, or leaving the market and moving to a new market to host a show elsewhere. he had a good run on Kiss FM after joining them post-death of Wild 100 when it flipped to Jack FM in 2004.
