Billy West

You hens have your ears to the ground for all the good gossip. Has anyone else heard anything about Billy West, late of the Howard Stern Show, getting his own national morning show?

I dont think so because no one knows who he is but he is also busy busy busy doing voice overs for everything you could name.

I've heard this "rumor" as well, with West together with Jackie Martling. It sounds more like a Stern fan's wishful dream than a posibility.

Fox just gave Spike Fersten (?) a talk show and he's further under the radar than Billy West/ Plus, I heard West needs the work. He blew all of his money investing in a movie or something.

He was a guest this morning with Morgan White (filling in) on WBZ.
Judging by the conversation he seems to be keeping buzy, though I can't remember all of the projects he mentioned, it sounds like he NOT hurting.

Billy West was on with Morgan White, Jr. filling in for Steve Leveille on WBZ. West and White announced that West will have a syndicated radio show sometime in September.

That will be very interesting. He was great playing off of Charles Laquidara. I wonder how he'll be standing alone. Or is Jackie Martling really going to be a part of the show. That would be funny.

"Nothing Sacred", transparency is so passe'!
You're just noticing that now?

Must have passed by one of those special mirrors that show transparent reflections.

Somone pulled their "Big_Bunny" moniker out of the mothballs. Guess when the real name can't be used there is alwasy "Big_Bunny". Happy Easter to you too! Hope you got a rise out of that!

Is there any way to get a thread going without it becoming another reason to hate Valvaline? I was wondering about Billy West returning to radio and could give a rat's ass about The Count's petty little wars with the rest of the world. Thank you to those of you that posted with some actual information or opinion.

Vulvaren is the king of argumentum ad hominem. Oh no everyone who doesn't agree with me or like me must be an alter ego of Oedipus or Nik Carter!

Big Bunny, doncha mean you want to hear that there is to be an Ad Hominem Catholic Homily on Sundays and holy days of obligation at all Masses that are on the Altar of the Church of the Poison Mind?

Just checking. Billy West would appreciate it. I gave him a ride from 1265 Boylston St. to points unknown back in the 80s. Nice man.

Billy West did some of the funniest bits heard in Boston, stuff for BCN in its heyday, who could forget our favorite toll taker, Dick McGeiver, Rosie from Revere,Fred( founder of Fred University, and Bank of Fred.)and all those great Y-Tell spots(Y-tell, it will never sell!) the best Stooges stuff as well.....ah, radio that still took a chance.....dare I say "the good old days" Lets all go back to the golden days of independent ownership.

What was your favorite Billy West bit from 'BCN?

The time he threw up in Steve Sweeney's lap in the alley behind the old Comedy Connection ::)
