Do the math ! :D

Here again, iBiquity is missing the point. Putting HD-R in a luxury car is not going to acheive the deep penetration where their technology should be to survive, namely, in the car. It needs to be in a Ford or Honda or any of the other lower priced, mass market cars and it needs to be standard equipment, not an option.

This, along with the total lack of any mention of HD-R in the consumer electronics catalogs (Best Buy, Good Guys, etc.), is a textbook case of how not to run a rollout.

"Sirius vs. HD Radio"

http://www.bimmerfest.com/forums/showthread.php?t=152874

On-going poll results: Sirius 62.5%, HD Radio 37.5% ! :D

Interesting! HD Radio has been an option in BMWs for less than a year and it's already garnered 37.5% of the vote? I'd say that's pretty good!

"What the Satellite Radio Christmas Season means for you"

"In the midst of all this we should also understand that as goes satellite so goes HD. Buying a new radio which you aren't convinced you need is a central issue which plagues both new flavors of radio. Look for the vibe on satellite and HD to move in lockstep, with HD permanently in satellite's shadow."

Just, as Ramsey predicted - HD Radio, terrestrial radio's big savior ! :D
