BIN LADENS DEATH.....Did anyone in Providence have it..

WPRO-AM Covered it live via ABC Radio, they either had someone there already, or got someone there quick. I was coming home from a late trip to the convience store when I switched over to them.
 
I heard it on the Bill Cunningham program Sunday night-Mon AM on WPRO. It was just coming out that the president was gathering the press for an announcement. Cunningham got about 15-20 minutes into his show, then it became a "wait for the important announcement" show for another hour +.
 
get off your high horse holland and recognize the vital role that talk radio plays in our democracy. i am sick of hearing about ratings this and that. the bottom line is left or right, republican or democrat, talk radio, and all news media play a critical role in questioning our government, and creating a dialogue on both a national and local level. we need these mediums to inform voters, and help raise critical questions regarding both candidates and elected officials, as well as their policies and positions.

while you are right I am not in sales.
what I am in is the business of making sure our democracy survives another two hundred and thirty five years, that the press does not become a propaganda machine for the government, and that left wingers like you don't shut down the voice of the opposition under the guise of ratings horse crap.

Don't smoke!
Get plenty of exercise.
Favor a high-fiber diet and avoid fried foods (and ANYTHING with "high-fructose corn syrup").
