Binnie-Shapiro-Nassau

Not all of the FCC paperwork is done yet. Once the feds approve, then the bankruptcy court wheels will grind slowly.

I understand there is a dispute over an FCC fine that Nassau owes which is holding up the closing.

I believe the complain was for content on the national syndicated morning show "Free Hot Beer and Wings" on the "The Bone" out of Maine

It's like that time I lived in a 1979 Datsun, I was going to trade up to a 1986 Dodge K-Car but the dang old car had 4 outstanding parking tickets! I'm only 4 bags of bottles away from finally paying them off! I feel your pain, Mr. Binnie!

Cheers,
OldPort

Final Order is granted 45 days after Initial Order and then the parties have to close within ten days. If the parties agree, they can also close prior to Final Order.

Won't see, or hear, much of a difference for awhile. I'm sure there's a lot of logistics to take care of. Relocating studios/offices. Programming on 99.1FM in NH.

skightly off topic..alright way off topic.

Concord's 102.3? Somebody tell those clowns how BAD that crap sounds...

Right. only geographically close to the topic...

BTW I was (seriously) in a dentist's chair a couple weeks ago..he had EASY LISTENING 102.3 on,thought it was Classical music. I explained the song that was playing at that moment was in fact MAMA I'M COMING HOME by Ozzy.

He was shocked.
