This just in from DCRTV.
Boston Radio Duo In Mix To Replace Ron & Fez - 9/15 - Ever hear of Birdsey and Hutch? DCRTV hears that the Boston-New England area radio duo (a la rockers WAAF and WFNX) were auditioned by WJFK-FM over the summer for the weekday evening slot, as Ron and Fez eyed their move to XM (which was realized on 9/12). B&H traveled down I-95 to JFK's Fairfax studio (right) to do two 4-hour weekend late afternoon shifts. Right now, they're back up in Massachusetts - waiting for the phone to ring.....

Ron and Fez used to be on overnights on WTKK (show done out of NY)

Hey! Storm was awesome! LOL actually the only reason I listened to the show when they were together.

Only for a very short time though when they were on WNEW, but it was kinda dumb the way it was done...they were on in NY from 11p-3a, but 'TKK didn't start broadcasting the show until 1a, went til 3 with the live feed, and then played the 1st 2 hours from 3a-5a

Storm was ok on his own, when he teamed with Birdsey selling out his alternative persona to became a shock jock he showed that he didnt have any real talent, he just wanted to ride Birdsey's coat tails as if Birdsey was anyone who one would want to model their career after.

you're wrong. i worked with storm. he had, and i'm sure he still has, plenty of real talent. and work ethic. would show up 2 hours before his show to prep & produce bits. not the kind of guy who would roll in at, say, 2:15 for a 3:00 shift.
 
You have got to be kidding. Storm is one of the most talented people in radio till he had to work with Birdsey and had to do all the T and A stuff. I am now going to see if he is still at the station in SC so that I can also see if they stream radio...

and at the same point birdsey did work hard and come in hours before his show. he just researched the T and A.
