Birmingham Nielsen ratings - Summer 2016

These were released today. WAPI/WZRR shows a slight improvement. WMJJ HD2 (104.1, "The Beat") is up once again (this has to be the best performing translator here in Birmingham). "97.3 Play" continues its downward spiral to the bottom, notching just one rung higher than their HD2 aka Birmingham Mountain Radio (why do stations keep trying hot AC here when it always fails miserably??).

Comments? Observations?

Birmingham is now proving to me that their radio dial is bland and so predictable. Hence the reason why I'm no longer impressed with it. The only stations I tend to check out now are WBFR, WGIB, (For the music only) WLJR (For my Ravi Zacharias and John MacArthur fix), WHPH (For my Classic Hits fix) and WERC (For my Talk fix). I still love me some WZAL-LP, when visiting the Alabaster area. They know how to program things just right.

P.S. I once loved WDJC but since Mr. Ronnie retired, that station has become very boring and dull to me. They're not the radio station, they once was.
