Birmingham Nielsens - Spring 2015/Page 1

These came out yesterday:

http://ratings.****************/cgi-bin/rol.exe/arb095

WJOX and WERC are both up, as are WERC-HD2 and WMJJ HD-2; WMJJ, WDXB and WQEN are down. WDJC, WYDE and WENN-AM are all listed as "N/A" once again. WZRR, which seemed to have faired better in the Winter book, is now back down to their original Fall #'s in just one month's time. Is the format wheel ready to spin again for WZRR? Maybe a rebirth of talk WAPI-FM, but this time on 99.5?

I don't expect Cumulus to touch 99.5 because they seem too dedicated to this Nash FM / Nash Icon fiasco. I'm beginning to think they're bigger radio screw ups than the old Clear Channel. I tried the online stream app they are part-owner of, Rdio, and man… does it stink on toast. Lots of commercials, and their "60's hits" channel was full of remakes and outright incorrect recordings. Some of the other slightly more obscure stuff was screwy as well. And they wonder why Pandora is eating their lunch online!
