Birmingham's New Rock Station?

Can we just call it what it is: a new station in Birmingham that plays rock. I tried to listen this weekend but it's the same old vulcan songs over and over and over. There is good NEW ROCK out there!

Praise be to satellite radio!

That's definitely one shortcoming of the Vulcan. I think their library is too old and sometimes too "mainstream" for true rock fans. At least it appears they now have a mid-day jock.

It sounds like they have it pretty much staffed now. There are at least 2 more DJ's on during the week and a few on weekends (including Mark from WRAX). They haven't posted them on the website yet.

BTW, I heard you this weekend. You guys still do a good job!

Who, me? I work for WVOK in Oxford. Were you referring to Mark from the X?

I was referring to you and the station. I haven't listened in a while. I think it still sounds good.
